About Kubus

"Kubus" is a puzzle adventure game where you traverse a world where each plane is attached to sides of cubes and your goal is to defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and spin/rotate the world around you to reach the end.

Controls

WASD - move the player 

E - interact

F - shoot fireball 

Left mouse click - swing sword

Z - view the interactive level map 

X - display important icons

Early Assets Design Concepts

• All key assets were designed and modeled by Creative Media student, Calvin Gacuya

Prototype 1

• A demo level has been completed showcasing the basic mechanics of navigating the cube and solving each side's puzzle to reach the goal plane.

Prototype 2: Final Game

• The player has basic sword and fireball attacks to slay enemies and complete puzzles

• Improved overall visual effects

• A second forest world is created with more dynamic puzzles 

• A new hub world is created to traverse through the different levels. Once the player has collected enough gems, they could unlock new levels
